Library Link of the Day tracks the interests of knowledge workers

Like many technical communicators, I came to this field through a circituous route and have many professional interests that I try to follow. When I’m working on a new project and potentially new subject matter, I also tend to search out websites of that domain to immerse in the language and concerns of the audience. Thanks to all of the great social media tools out there, I can “listen” to user voices and track the people, sites, and content that interest me without having to visit each site.

But tracking down that information can be a lot of work, so I also rely on other smart folk to do the work for me. For example, one of the services I subscribe to is the Library Link of the Day:

http://www.tk421.net/librarylink/

This free service collects content of interest to librarians, information scientists, and other knowledge workers. The service covers everything from library services to search engines to textbook costs to trends in ebook publishing to online reading strategies. In other words, anything that would interest a person with a deep interest in books, the web, and reading.

I subscribe to the RSS feed, but you can also subscribe by email.
